VIDHYA BHARATI ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING HELD AT TADONG SIKKIM

Vidhya bharati annual general meeting was held at its head office at Tadong under the president ship of eastern zonal vidhya bharati president Mr. tshiz Chandra sarkar .in the meeting Mr. govind Chandra mahanta organising secretary of this region, Sikkim sector president Mr. dinesh Nepal, organising secretary Mr. giridhar dawadi,coordianator Mr. Mohan Sharma, office secretary Mr. Mohan shapkota,etc was specially present during the meeting. In the meeting the annual work and accounts was briefly discussed. it was decided to open three new school in Sikkim in this tenure at Rangpo,singtam and Gangtok. At every district one school shall built as modal school. Three days long training regarding the new education policy was decided to organise at singtam Marwari dharmasala from 20th to 22nd may 11.organising secretary Mr. govind chandar mohanta addressing the meeting specially urged to preserve the mother tongue language. for preserving the tradition ,culture and state heritage first the mother tongue must be preserve.english language may be used as a functional  language only.sanskrit is the mother of indo-European language so Sanskrit may be given first priority in the study.mr tshiz Chandra sarkar zonal president addressing the meet specially requested to strengthen the vidhya bharati works  to Darjeeling and doors also.mr sarkar appealed the delegates attended from several parts of the state to give special preference to the villages.
