WORLD ENVIROMENT WEEK OBSERVED BY ZYDUS CADILLA SIKKIM UNIT

Zydus Healthcare, Sikkim is celebrating "World Environment Week" from 30th May to 5th June 2010.  During this week Zydus healthcare is organizing inter - department EHS audit competition; best idea, quiz & slogans competition, plantation and some other such activities.

Like last year, as part of the world environment week celebrations Zydus Healthcare contributed towards reducing a bit of the carbon footage. Towards this, on 3rd June A and G shifts vehicles did not run and all employees came walking to the factory from their respective houses. The employees came to the factory in two groups. Group coming from Singtam was led by the Unit Head, Mr. NN Kabade himself and the other group  coming from Rangpo was led by Mr. Suman Bag. 

Also, on 4^th June the senior executives of Zydus Healthcare planted saplings in Majhitar High School along with the school staff and the students.  The executives from Zydus Healthcare included Major Ajit Singh (Head HR & Administration), Mr. Yogendra Singh (Manager Maintenance) and Mr. Jayaram Pattnaik (Safety Officer). Major Ajit Singh addressed the students and advised them as to how they can contribute towards a better environment.
