COORDIANATION MEETING OF HRDD HELD AT DUGA BAC

A coordination meeting with the head of the institutions and members of Zilla Panchayat under the jurisdiction of Duga bac east Sikkim was organised at the conference hall of duga bac under the leadership of Mr. basant Kumar Sharma assistant director of human resources development department .the meeting was specially attended by Mr. purusotam pradhan BDO duga,mrs sunita rai ,mr karma chimi bhutia and tej bir silal Zilla Panchayat member from west pandam,sumin lingey,and east pandam respectively. Addressing the head of 30 schools and other dignitaries AD Mr. Sharma shared the instructions which were percolated down from the high authority. Under the RTE act 2009 compulsory diploma in education should be acquired by every untrained primary school. Teachers though distance course or at DIET. Similarly every untrained graduate teacher should acquire B.ED degree from lloyalla or harkamaya collage or through IGNOU.mr Sharma also stressed regarding the authority of HRDD that no teacher shall be permitted to visit BAC or district office without the proper deputation latter from the head of the institution. in case the head of the school such deputation letters can be obtained from the competent authority.responsiblity,accountability and transparency should also be maintained while tilizing various type of funds which have been diverted to schools.regurding academic matter he asked that no teacher shall enter into the class room without proper lesson plan for carrying out teaching learning process on scholastic area of learning and proper evaluation sheet for accessing co-scholastic areas of learning. To enhance the quality education,mr Sharma requested all the head of the institutions that the performance of every teacher should be rated and graded so that hard working and innovative teachers can be segregated.similerly the head of the school should submit the list of alcoholic,errant,indisciplined teachers along with medically unfit teachers list to the department periodically. if such type of teachers exist in the school the appropriate, remedial measures can be applied to correct the system.mr purusotam pradhan BDO duga also addressing the meeting urged to proper utilize school grants and conversion cost of cooked mid day meal. the head of the institutions also shared their views and placed their grievancances.
