Lions club of Rangpo gateway of Sikkim guidance under lion’s club international322 f meeting was organised at Rangpo. In the meeting old committee was dissolved and new committee under 11-12 tenure was formed under the president ship of lion chabilal Sharma. Lion b s tamang and lion Milan silwal was nominated as vice president,mr bikash Kumar prasasd as secretary and Mr. lion kishore pradhan as cashier. The newly formed committee shall take their charge from July 11 onwards. Lion sanjay agarwal present president of the club giving short details of the project and work done in 2010-11 specially requested all the members to do more social work and active participation in all the social work and specially programmes. Lion agarwal announcing him selection for the cabinet chairman as a social service in Sikkim assured to support the club as regular basis. In the beginning of the year the club has decided to start the award programme named late lion o p devkota memorial award in the name of active club member named late o p devkota who was gone to heavenly abode before two years from this world to the two persons one from club members and one from social workers of the area who has specially supported to the clubs from all side. The first year late lion o p devkota award name was announced as lion d b gurung from club members and Mr. Dev subba manager Rangpo tourism. The certificate of appreciation ,khada and momentous was awarded by the hand of Mrs. Neeta devkota who was specially present in the programme as a invited guest.mr kailash thapa headmaster Rangpo junior high school and Mr. sonam wangdi PI Rangpo police station in charge was also present as a special guest in the programme.
