Alkem limited an multinational industrial unit having its unit at kumrek east Sikkim has organised an blood donation camp at their company complex yesterday company Kumar resources head Mr. ramakant rai along with five ladies and ninety two other staff and man workers with total ninety eight persons has participated in this day long plantation drive. First time any industrial unit has organised such type of camp at the industrial complex. The collected 98 unit blood was deposited at the central referral hospital Tadong and STNM hospital Gangtok blood bank. Out of 98 unit 58 unit blood was deposited to CRH Tadong and 40 units were deposited to STNM hospital Gangtok. Company Sikkim unit head Mr. R chiklam, Rangpo ward no 4 councillor Mr. Bikash Prasad, lions club of Rangpo gateway of Sikkim president lion chabilal Sharma was also present in the programme .according to the news more forty persons was interested to donate blood on the same day but shortage of blood collection bag it was not possible.
