NERAMAC SIKKIM A GOOD RESPONSE

To provide the bigger market and Sikkim organic vegetables the NERAMAC has started several project in and outside state. In siliguri the shop is always running at wholesale vegetables market at mallaguri.from octuber 2010 also the NERAMAC has started the retail counter of Sikkim cultivated fruits and vegetables counter at lal bazaar Gangtok. According to Mr. p c Roy zonal manager every month more than 200 quintals of vegetables from the remote villages of the Sikkim comes here for selling and neramac is proud to announce that more than four thousand farmers has avail this facility and all are satisfied. The counter is running as no profit no loss basis and three local persons named Mr. nima tshring lepcha and pasang lepcha from north district and rohini dangal from east Sikkim was employed from neramac.except this neramac is going on procedure to install an stall at big bazaar Gangtok to encourage the local cultivation. though the neramac has install several stall for Sikkim product fruit and vegetables but they has lack of transport facility to collect the produce of village products from the villages .if possible the horticulture may support in this sector .as Sikkim is going to announce as a organic state within 2015so if the horticulture department shall start to give tag to the Sikkim organic products the farmers shall receive more rate for this tag. In other side Sikkim organic food product cooperative society is also helping and supporting to neramac in this mission.
