East district forest territorial has organised a plantation and awareness drive at kameray and Duga deorali ward today under the green mission programme 2011.mr b k tiwari CF (T) of east district was present as a chief guest while Mr P pradhan BDO Duga was present as a special guest of the programme. the day long programme was specially attended by Mr. p k pradhan headmaster,mr rudra khatiwada Panchayat member along with local residents and members from several ngos.mr s kazi ACF of forest department of BAC Duga giving welcoming address specially stressed regarding the importance of such type of programme in this area.mr c b gurung block officer of the Rangpo forest given the details regarding the procedure of plantation and preservation of plants .today more than 500 sapling of several type of flower plants was planted in this two wards .addressing the programme by Mr. v k tiwari given the details of organising such type of mission and programme by the forest department. To make the state green the department has organised a green mission is historical and inspired everyone to participate in the drive to make the mission a unique one project. With the thanks address by Mr. ashok chettri an president of ngo the programme was ended.
