Forest environment &wildlife management department government of Sikkim organised special programme and plantation drive at environment awareness centre situated at suyesh satsang dham manav uthan sewa samiti.departments director mr T D R ai was present as a chief guest while Mr. manzil kharel range officer Singtam,mr purna yonzon deputy director sports and youth affairs department,mr d s chettri,mr girish Chandra rai chairman simfed,MUSS Rangpo in charge mahatma santanandji,keshav baiji,state incharge of MUSS Mr laxmun rai,Sikkim mandal in charge mr bhim prakash rai ,environment coordinator of MUSS mr surya giri,Rangpo muss secretary Mr. bharat pradhan,Gangtok muss president pravin gurung was specially present in the programme. Other forest department officers and members of MUSS was also especially present in the programme .after the plantation drive the awareness programme was also organised. Speaking on the occasion several spokespersons specially highlighted in the issue of protection of environment and importance of environment and trees in our daily life. In other side the manav uthan sewa samiti namchi south Sikkim also organised plantation programme on the eve of 10 minute to earth programme. in the special presence of Mr. sagar moktan namchi branch MUSS president,mr laxmun rai Sikkim state MUSS president,mr d b rai secretary,mr dilip rai joint secrearey,namchi area muss in charge puja baiji and smriti baiji the members of MUSS planted several saplings .
