Nandu gaun secondary school falls under south Sikkim also organised special programme on the eve of ten minute to earth mission. According to school headmaster Mr. sagar moktan Mr. s k Sharma deputy director of SIRD was present as a chief guest of the programme while Mr. udai gurung DFO(LAND USE) forest department,mr A K Das deputy director HRDD was present as a special guest of the programme. Between the special presences of the students, guardians, local citizens, Panchayat members, school managing committee members the grand awareness rally taking play card in the hand was also organised in the area. An interaction programme was also held between the attended personalities and students. More than 200 saplings were planted in the school complex today.
